Backcountry Ski Touring and Ski Mountaineering
Our guided backcountry adventures are for those who want to experience a remote mountain wilderness experience and don’t mind roughing it a little bit.
When the days get longer and the sun gets stronger is the perfect time to head to remote and spectacular mountain places.
The best things in life are not free and you have to be prepared to work a bit to experience the joys of skiing amongst the big peaks and glaciers.
Nirvana Pass Camp March 30- April 4 2025
This will be our 7th time returning to Nirvana Pass in the Pantheon Range of the Coast Mountains. It really is that great!
Nirvana Pass has many things going for it as a backcountry skiing destination.
From the camp we can access 6 different glaciers that all offer outstanding touring and skiing terrain.
The scenery is spectacular with rugged peaks and icefields in all directions.
Being on the dry side of the Coast Mountains the weather is generally good.
Access to the Nirvana Camp is by a 15-minute helicopter flight from Bluff Lake, 2.5 hours west of Williams Lake, BC. We fly right to our base camp. Step out of the helicopter and set up camp. It’s that easy.
All guiding camp and meals are provided.
Cost: $2950 plus GST
